CultureHouse: Bringing Pop-Up Social Infrastructure to Boston

Please join us to learn about new ways to engage with the community and listen to Aaron Greiner, Director of CultureHouse. Aaron is a designer who’s work and passions have taken him through art, engineering, and human-centered design before settling on urban design. He will talk about CultureHouse, an organization he started that improves livability in local communities by facilitating the creation of public social infrastructure through the transformation of unused spaces into vibrant places to work, play, and foster connections.

CultureHouse activates under-used or vacant spaces and transforms them into community spaces that serve as a communal living room, an indoor public park, and a third space between home and work. In addition to their longer term pop-ups, CultureHouse also frequently engages in one day pop-ups which are often outdoors and in conjunction with community gatherings and events.
