City of Boston Compact Living Program

Join us as the BSA Housing Committee hosts representatives from the Boston Planning and Development Agency in a session around the City's Compact Living Pilot program.

Under the program, the City is allowing new buildings to include small, efficient housing units as long as they meet certain requirements. Compact Living units are ideal for residents looking for more affordable living. These units also provide easy access to transit, amenities, and services they need and enjoy. The Compact Living Policy is a two-year pilot that will allow City of Boston staff to evaluate the progress of the policy.

This session will:
•Present objectives of the program
•Shed light on the requirements under the program
•Report on the progress made under the pilot
•Provide an opportunity to ask questions and give feedback about the final policy.

1.5 LU AIA credits are available.
