Network Security in 2017

Fellow IT Wizards,

In the light of the data breaches of Target and Equifax, computer/network security has become a major focus for firms both large and small. Please join us for our next IT Wizards meeting on November 15 at noon when we meet to discuss perimeter security and how perimeter security threats have evolved over the past decade, along with the current strategies we can employ to keep our data safe. We will be joined by Jamie MacFarland and Bob Wholley from Fortinet, one of the leaders in perimeter security.

Jamie MacFarland is a Named Account Director at Fortinet. He has been working with corporations throughout the Boston area to help address their IT Security challenges, and to improve their security posture. Previous to Fortinet, Jamie was a Regional Sales Manager with Palo Alto Networks, and has been in the Cybersecurity field for most of his recent career.

Bob Wholley is a Systems Engineer with Fortinet since 2015. Bob supports the salesforce in New England to support designing solutions to address the IT Security needs of corporations throughout the region. Previous to Fortinet, Bob was a solution architect with Compucom.
