Revit 2016: release 2 and the latest in energy + daylighting analysis

Please join us for the March IT Wizards meeting to learn about the latest improvements in Revit 2016 release 2. Our presenter this month is Clarke Morrison, a Solutions Expert for Microdesk's Boston office. He’ll be giving an overview of the new features included in this subscription-only release, and he’ll walk you through how you can take advantage of the powerful capabilities of cloud-based energy and daylighting analysis within Revit. With Revit 2016, you can get an accurate energy analytical model without extensive input, in order to make more informed decisions throughout the entire design process. Also, you can run analysis on building masses or fully modeled Revit elements.

Clarke is a BIM consultant based out of Microdesk’s Boston office. He provides technical support, project mentoring, training, and implementation services to our architectural clients and his focus is providing on-going BIM Management services. He is currently helping firms incorporate the latest energy analysis tools into their projects. Prior to joining Microdesk in 2011, Clarke spent 7 years as a CAD Manager and Architectural Designer with a local A/E firm. He has extensive experience in drafting, modeling and rendering with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Google Earth. Clarke has also worked on a wide range of project types, including commercial, residential, and public projects.
