Team + Project Management /10 Lessons Learned
Do you manage a team or a heavy workload? How do you view the job of managing yourself at work?
Veteran marketer Karen Euler will kick off our roundtable discussion by presenting 10 brief lessons learned about management in the context of the A/E/C industry. How shall we best feed the network, resolve problems within various corporate structures, gain recognition for the team, build a Go/No-Go system that works for all key stakeholders, read widely to stay informed, define roles, and create and follow a process, all while lightening the load rather than adding to it?
Karen Euler is a marketing consultant with experience working inside and with several large design firms in Boston. She credits her expertise in various areas of marketing to attending and participating in dozens of sessions provided since 2006 by the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) Marketing/PR Wizards. An early adopter of social media technology in our industry, she tweets under the name @karen_e and welcomes dialogue in that forum.
