Skylight, 2018, Silver Halide, $250
These photographs were taken as part of a weekend photography project in which I wanted to document the aesthetics of urban design inhering in San Francisco's newly developed South of Market Area (SOMA) The photographs submitted here were taken on August 19, 2018 from the public rooftop park of SOMA's then newly completed Salesforce Transit Center. Unfortunately, the Salesforce Transit Center is currently closed for repairs to remedy recently discovered structural problems. Nonetheless, the Center's rooftop park provided an excellent platform to photograph SOMA's emerging urban environment.
