Artist Statement

I am fascinated with photographing details of subjects in such a way that they become strong artistic abstractions.
Many of us don’t notice the little things when looking at a subject that we often see. By taking the time to really look, I find my treasures.
I edit and reproduce my photographs in-house on watercolor paper using an archival giclée printing process. The texture and color of the paper helps keep a soft, natural feel to the photographs while preserving the rich, vibrant color.
