His work includes the transformation of the former gymnasium into the award-winning Brattle Theatre, the design of the iconic Loeb Visitor Center at the Museum of the American Revolution, and projects for institutions such as MIT, Harvard, and the MFA. A champion of preserving historic fabric while introducing thoughtful modern interventions, Gund helped redefine what it meant to build in dialogue with the past.Beyond his architectural practice, Gund was a devoted philanthropist and patron of the arts. He served as a trustee of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and led the Gund Foundation, supporting arts, education, and social justice.
