The North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters to halt work on Monday, April 6
Carpenters Union says it is nearly impossible to keep construction sites safe from the spread of COVID-19.
Despite the Baker administration's recent clarification on the definition of essential services that relate to the construction industry, the North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters has directed its nearly 10,000 Massachusetts members to stop working, effective April 6, citing the impracticality of keeping construction sites safe from the spread of COVID-19.
The BSA recently launched a survey asking its members and social media networks whether construction should be deemed an essential service. Participate, and find out how they responded.
