Theaters are scattered all around Boston’s vibrant downtown - hidden behind incredible facades, even more incredible performances are happening all around us daily. This collection of theaters forms the Theater District - a neighborhood rich in activity and inspiration.
To honor Downtown Crossing’s Theater District and its resounding impact on the arts and culture in both Boston and the greater Boston area, this gingerbread house recreates the Opera House, which holds performances by the Boston Ballet (like the Nutcracker, shown on this gingerbread stage).
