RememberingFeb 09, 2022 Share ↗ Remembering John Louis Cummings John Louis Cummings, 88, of Hudson and formerly a longtime resident of Wellesley, died on Saturday, January, 29, 2022 at the Artisan in Hudson after a long battle with Lewy body dementia.John was born on April 27, 1933 in El Paso County, Colorado, the son of John and Jennie (Lolcama) Cummings. He served as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, working as an engineer on the B36 bomber from 1954-1957. He then attended and received a degree in architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1963.He worked as an architect at Carl Koch in Boston and later was a partner at The Architects Collaborative in Cambridge prior to opening his own practice before retiring. He completed projects around the world, including a luxury hotel in Cyprus, a post office in Kuwait and the King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia.
