BSA Design Awards Gala Postponed
The champagne was chilling, tuxes were pressed, and drumrolls were ready for the BSA 2021 Design Awards Gala.
Due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant, the BSA has decided to postpone our in-person awards gala, originally scheduled for January 27. This does not mean we will not be celebrating—we are actively exploring options for another in-person event later this year at a time when we can do so both safely and festively.
Even as we delay this event, we do not hold off on congratulating all the 2021 award recipients whose work in design excellence is having such an important impact. We will be announcing the BSA Design Award winners—including the BSA Award of Honor, the BSA Commonwealth Award, the BSA Honorary Membership Award, and the Earl R. Flansburgh Young Designers Award—on January 27. So keep an eye on our website and BSA’s social media feeds for news.
Please join us in raising a glass—in spirit—to toast their work, and we hope to see you in person soon.
