This year's competition theme is Transit: Boston on the Move. This theme encouraged participants to come up with their most innovative explorations of Boston’s many forms of transit. Teams thought beyond just the T—to buses, bikes, ferries, transit infrastructure, and more!

The reception will include a brief awards ceremony where this year's Gingerbread Jury will hand out Judges' Choice and Honorable Mention Awards. The rest of the awards will be announced online after the close of the exhibition at noon on December 21, 2023.
