Last Exit to (a lost) Boston
Lechmere Station is one of the last outposts of a working class Boston that included candy factories, trolley snacks, and a starting point for the creaky ride across the river.
The MBTA recently announced that the Green Line Expansion would force closure of the Lechmere Station in East Cambridge for one year. Photographer Leslie Fenn took a walk through its future ruins.
