In the second installment of our "In Memoriam: The BSA Green Stairs" series, we celebrate the legacy of the Staircase. From their iconic debut to their careful deconstruction, discover how the BSA Foundation found a way for these beloved stairs to continue to enrich Boston as public benches and unique keepsakes.

At this crucial moment, the BSA is hosting "Intersections: Equity, Environment + The City" in conjunction with BSA Women in Design and BosNOMA.

BSA member firms present their design ideas for a community space within the historic Ropewalk Building at the Charlestown Navy Yard. The participating firms—designLAB architects, Charles Rose Architects, and EYP—have been working closely with the BSA, the National Park Service (NPS), the City of Boston, Boston Landmarks Commission, and Charlestown community members to transform approximately 3,000 sf at one end of the building into a useful and inspired amenity for the neighborhood.

BSA Space’s most recent exhibition, Balancing Act: Urbanism & Emerging Technologies, welcomed over 7,300 visitors while on view from May 17 through September 27, 2019.

Dozens of attendees came to BSA Space on the evening of August 1 to hear from three leaders in the field of data science, mobility, and civic technology.
