8th Annual Gingerbread House Design Competition+Exhibition
Now in its eighth year, the Gingerbread Design Competition and Exhibition is a fun and tasty way to highlight the delicious talents of Boston landscape and architecture firms. While challenging designers to explore a new medium, this sweet event also raises funds for community design programs of the BSA Foundation and the Community Design Resource Center.
Canstruction is a charity event and exhibition where teams of architects, designers, engineers, and contractors compete in awe-inspiring feats of engineering to create sculptures made out of canned goods and other nonperishable food items—without the use of glue or other adhesives. In the past 24 years, Canstruction Boston has collected more than ONE MILLION pounds of food, providing more than 887,000 meals to people experiencing food insecurity in Massachusetts.
