Site Matters, edited anthologies from 2005 and 2021, examine how designers engage sites physically and conceptually. Essays examine influences that shape design thinking: discourses, representations, physical/spatial contacts, and professional practices. Collecting and bringing into focus contemporary thinking, this twenty-year project creates vocabulary elucidating the many meanings of site, elevating it to a new level of visibility.
