I have been very fortunate to be involved in several large scale urban projects that have transformed Boston’s urban fabric: among them the Ritz Carlton Hotel +Towers, Millennium Tower and the future Winthrop Center. These projects were just some of my accomplishments that led to my recognition as the recipient of the 2016 BSA Design in Excellence Award.
My work over the years has focused on many scales, from impacting the Boston skyline to the public realm and how the buildings meet the ground plane.

Attention to the materials, details, construction quality and the environmental issues of how these large projects impact the pedestrian has been as important as how these buildings are seen from across the Charles River, and I take pride in trying to understand design process across these many scales.

We live in a City that takes pride in the built environment and over the years, my decisions have been influenced by the many stakeholders that are involved in a successful project. From the city agencies to the end users and community members, understanding how to hear all of the voices and balance them into an end project that everyone feels proud of and excited about has been a challenge, but a very fulfilling and rewarding part of these project and my career.
